Building Great Marriages Brick by Brick

Welcome! We are glad you are here!
This six-lesson series identifies six common marriage obstacles and teaches peer-reviewed research-based ways to navigate them successfully. This program was inspired by a concept presented by Dieter F. Uchtdorf in a 2016 General Conference address to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He said, “Great marriages are built brick by brick, day after day, over a lifetime." We like to think of these lessons as a collection of bricks you can use to build a solid foundation for your marriage, so that when obstacles inevitably come, you will be ready to conquer them together and your marriage will stand strong!

The lessons can be completed on your own, but our hope is that you and your spouse will take this opportunity to learn together, spend time together, and get to know each other better as you both participate in each lesson and the suggested activities. As you do so, you will learn to appreciate your differences, you’ll be prepared to work through challenges together, and you’ll build a great marriage.
